Charles Thomas Cain, Sr., age 86, died February 19, 2025.
Born in Milan, Georgia, on December 10, 1938, Charles served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, then moved to Lakeland with his wife, Eva, in 1962. He worked as a truck driver for Scotty's and other local companies before retiring from Advanced Aluminum.
Charles was a Past Worshipful Master of Masonic Lodge #256 in Lakeland. He also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was Past Worthy Patron of Lakeland Chapter #26.
Charles is survived by his son, Charles T. Cain, Jr. (Buddy) and daughter-in-love, Jennifer; daughter, Rene and son-in-law, Greg Hart; and grandsons Christopher (Madison) and Joshua Hart. He is also survived by his brother, James H. Cain (Sandra) and Jimmy's children, Brett and Charlene. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva; his mother, Evelyn Roselle Haven; and his father, Charles Harold Cain.
Charles worked hard and provided well for his family. After losing Eva to cancer in 2016, he was heartbroken. We are happy that they are finally reunited and truly at peace.
