Bonnie was born January 18, 1942, and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and passed away at 79, earning her wings on June 20, 2021 in Lakeland, Florida. Bonnie spent most of her professional life working in the banking industry.
Bonnie's main passion was plants, flowers and gardening. She loved canning her crops and sharing with family and friends. Another passion was watching WWE wrestling and low-budget syfy monster movies! Bonnie spent many summers at her family cottage in Pinckney, Michigan, where she enjoyed family time, pontooning and fishing. Other loves included feeding and watching birds, coloring, baking, crocheting, and raising chickens.
Bonnie is the daughter of the late Norman and Jean Dewitt. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Perhne and uncle, Richard Zdzieblowski , sister-in-law, Bobbi Dewitt and son-in-law, William `Bill' Freeze.
Bonnie is survived by her brother, Russ Dewitt, daughter, Julie Freeze, son, Randy Westenfelder, step children, Robyn Perhne and Gery Perhne and grandchildren, Kyrsten Smith, Jeffrey Perhne, Anya Wiltse, Tasha Wiltse, Damien Westenfelder and Chase Westenfelder, son-in-law's sister, Kathleen `Katie' Freeze, niece, Kristen Bark and nephew, Patrick Dewitt. Bonnie was loved by many more extended family and friends.
