Bobby Gene Skaggs

Bobby Skaggs, age 86, of Lakeland, FL passed away surrounded by his family on May 10, 2022.
A native of Fountain Farm, Missouri, he was the son of the late Samuel and Genieve Skaggs.
He leaves behind his loving daughters, Cyndie (Charlie) Young and Kandi Fletcher, his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Brandon) Bauer, Christa (Justin) Boswell, Jamie (Will) Tobias, and Dave "DJ" (Becky) Radford and his great granddaughters, Ava, Mattie and Mila Tobias. He is survived by his siblings, Kenny and Dennis Skaggs and Sue Aubuchon and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie, his daughter, Patricia, his parents and siblings, Sammy, Jimmy, Pat and Vernon.
Bobby was employed by Publix for many years where he maintained small machines. He absolutely loved yard sales, going to gun shows and cars shows, working in his shop and tinkering with his yellow Studebaker. He liked John Wayne westerns and thoroughly enjoyed watching WWE women's wrestling. PawPaw lived a long and interesting life and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM
