Beverly "Janie" Jones

Beverly "Janie" Jones, 70, passed away on May 19, 2025, in Gainsville, Florida. She was born on March 8, 1955, in Lakeland, Florida.

Beverly was the daughter of the late Wendell and Clara Avant. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jones, and her siblings, Junior and Becky.

She is survived by her children, Billy (Tracy) Lawhon, John (Tiffany) Lawhon, Amy (Christian) Kelly, and Andrea (Joey) Higdon; her thirteen grandchildren—Brittany, Tommy, Shelby, Bubba, Pacey, Clay, Tyler, Bryce, Emily, Ryleigh, Olivia, Wyatt, and Kenna—and many great-grandchildren.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a woman of Christian faith. Known for her kindness and steady presence, she touched the lives of many through her compassion and care.

Beverly will be remembered for her love of family, her faith, and the lasting impact she had on those who knew her.
