Betty Lou Bozeman, passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 89 in Lakeland, Florida. Born on June 3, 1935, in Sparks, Georgia.
Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband, J.R. Bozeman, her siblings L.C. Hayes, Bernon Hayes, and Maudella Branch, as well as her sons, James Richard Bozeman and Joseph Keith Bozeman.
She is survived by her sister Blanche Shirah, her son Steve Allen Bozeman, her daughter-in-laws, Florence and Laurie Bozeman, her grandchildren, Justin Keith Bozeman and Wesley Bethencourt, and her great-grandchildren Lilah Ann, Quinn Avery, Charlotte Josephine, and Malakai Hayes Bozeman.
Betty Lou Bozeman was a devout Christian and prayer warrior. Her journey on earth may have come to a close, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light for those she loved. Her life was a beautiful reflection of the values she held dear, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family will be received from 4:00pm to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, at Lanier Funeral Home.
A funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm.
