Betty Lou Garrison

Betty Garrison, age 84, of Plant City, FL passed away on March 5, 2022.
She was the of daughter of the late Otto and Mairie Hanson.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Carol) Sweeney, Dennis (Sandra) Sweeney, Deryl Sweeney, Sheila Sweeney-Wesson, Randy Watson, and Richard (Marcia) Hanson. She will be missed by thirteen grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and one on the way.
Betty was a member of Faith Assembly Church in Plant City, and worked for years in the Publix bakery. She was a jitter-bugger and an award winning dancer. She was a homemaker who cared for her family and wasn't afraid to let her boys know who was boss. She will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at New Home Baptist Church, 901 North Galloway Road, Lakeland, FL 33810. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery.
