Alvie Ray Steelman, age 74, of Lakeland, FL passed away on October 17, 2021.
A native of Tilden, Illinois, he was the son of Alvie and Minie Steelman.
Survivors include his wife Heidrun "Heidi" Steelman of 31 years, children, Tereasa Kissel (Scott), David Sturgeon Jr., sibling, Melba Johnson, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Alvie worked at Walmart for 15 years, attended Polk City Baptist Church, served in the United States Army in Vietnam Era, he enjoyed Nascar, camping and cruises. A memorial service will be held, 1:00pm Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Polk City First Baptist Church, 212 Hamolia Avenue, Polk City, Florida 33868.
