Wyman Lavon Lawrence

Wyman Lawrence, age 81, of Lakeland passed away on March 20, 2018. A native of Harrison, Georgia, he was the son of the late George and Alberta Sheppard Lawrence. Survivors include his beloved wife: Lovean Lawrence, children: Ronnie (Suzie) Lawrence, Gary (Tamra) Lawrence, James Broxton, Denise (Dale) Reed, siblings: Floyd (Joyce) Lawrence, William (Penny) Lawrence, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Wyman was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years Faye Lawrence and a sister Totsie Fleming. Wyman was a member of the The Family Worship Center, worked for the City of Lakeland where he was a maintenance mechanic with the power plants. He enjoyed bowling, working with wood, walking in the great outdoors, and working in his yard. Wyman was a man of God who shared his Christian Faith by example. He was retired from the U.S. Army National Guard. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805.
