Wanda Ivelisse Velazquez Guerra of Lakeland, Florida gained her wings on April 24, 2019. Wanda was born on November 1, 1958 to the late Ramiro Velazquez and Carmen Velazquez Martinez in Coamo, Puerto Rico. At the age of 1 her family relocated to New York until the age of 5 , where she then started a new life in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
In Philadelphia she met the man of her dreams, the love of her life and soulmate, Efrain Marcano-Guerra and formed a union for over 44 years, with 3 beautiful children and had the pleasure of experiencing a wonderful life.
Wanda leaves behind Husband, Efrain Marcano-Guerra, 3 children, Wanda I Rivera (Eric Ocasio Sr.), Efrain Guerra Jr. and Eric A. Guerra Sr (Leslie Guerra).
Grandchildren: Noel Guerra, Celeste Grantham, Step Grandson Eric Ocasio Jr., Eric A. Guerra Jr., Lianni I. Guerra and Great Grandchild Nevaeh E. Jackson.
Wanda is one of 8 siblings. She is survived by Norma, Gladys, Jose Orlando, Nilsa, Ralph and Nestor. She was preceded in death by her sister, Olga Velazquez-Rosario.
We would like to take this time to remember Wanda, her life, her laughter and her loving touch.
Wanda dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going fishing and the Casinos. Mama Wanda your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
