Robert Dale Gregg, 65, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on November 4, 2018.
Born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, on February 18, 1953, he was the son of the late Evelyn Jackson Gregg. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Rodger Gregg.
Robert is survived by his former wife, Connie Buey; children, Catherine Gregg in Altamonte Springs, Regina Shoemaker (Clay) in Winter Garden, Amanda Ralano (Mike) in Winter Haven, and Heather Flores in Orlando; father, Robert James Gregg; siblings, Jimmy Gregg, Sheila Jackson, Ricky Gregg (Judy), Joyce La Brie (Robert Emerick), Timmy Gregg (Teresa), Wanda Noyes, Dennis “Wayne” Gregg, William “Billy” Gregg (Paula), and David Gregg; grandchildren, Noah Matlock, Seth Matlock, Isac Matlock, Carlos Serrano, Cosette Shoemaker, Caleb Shoemaker, Isabelle Flores, Audrey Flores and Aria Ralano on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was a fireman at Lake Alfred Fire Department for 10 years and a construction flagger with Polk County DOT for 14 years. He is also a veteran of the Army.
The family will welcome friends for a visitation on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9:45-10:30AM at Lanier Funeral & Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland 33805, with a funeral service starting at 10:30AM. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park following the services.
