Raymond Shiver Obituary
Raymond Clyde Shiver, 88, passed away on March 30, 2018.
Born in Lakeland, Florida, on June 1, 1929, he was the son of the late John J. Shiver and Grace Jane Freeman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ann Shiver. He worked as a switch foreman for the railroad and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Raymond is survived by his children, Michael Shiver (wife Patty), Linda Sanders (husband Terry), Jane Walker, Gary Shiver; sisters, Alma Mesknes and Betty Wicinski; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on April 6, 2018 at 10:00AM at Socrum Cemetery at Bethel Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Men’s Ministry of Bethel Baptist Church.
