Norman W Robinson

Shorty Robinson, age 89, of Lakeland, FL passed away on January 24, 2019. A native of Enigma, Georgia, Shorty was the son of the late Shannon and Beulah McMillan Robinson. Shorty is survived by his wife Edith Robinson, sons; Glen (Debbie) Robinson, Eric (Lori) Robinson, Dale (Judy) Robinson, daughter; Andrea (Paul) Wilson, brother; Melvin Robinson, 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Marvin, Clifford, Hilton Robinson and sister Alene Cauley. Shorty was the owner of Shorty’s Amoco in Lakeland, Florida, he was a former Milkman for Cone’s Dairy in Plant City, Florida. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Shorty loved to fish, deep sea fish, camping, NASCAR and the Tampa Bay Bucs. Shorty donated 38 gallons of blood in his life time. The family will receive friends Monday, January 28, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805.
