Lidia Valcarcel-Castro Obituary

Lidia Valcarcel-Castro, age 78, of Lakeland, FL passed away on August 11, 2019.

A native of RioPiedras, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Salome and Catalina Valcarcel-Castro.

Survivors include her husband Joseph Rosario of 59 years, children, Gregory Lozada, Steven Lozada, Linda Mojica (Marcos), Jesus Orta, Annette Pena (David), Elba Perez, Joseph Rosario Jr (Stephanie), Lisa Rosario (Jorge), sibling, Felix Castro, 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Lidia was preceded in death by her son Angel Orta. She was a Pastor with her husband for 20 years, where her ministry was feeding and clothing the homeless.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 16, 2019, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM.
