Jean Towner Obituary
Jean S. Towner 91 of Lakeland Florida (formerly of Emporium PA) died Tuesday, November 26, 2019, after a brief illness.
She was born May 2, 1928, and was the daughter of Lena and Henry Severin.
On October 16, 1948, she married Earl L. Towner Jr. who preceded her in death on January 10, 2012.
She is survived by a son Vince Towner of Philadelphia, daughter Valerie (Terry) Shelley of Emporium, two grandchildren Sherilyn (Mike) Ostrum and Scott (Angela) Knarr, four great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helene Herzing and Catherine Paige.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Florida National Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Lanier Funeral Home in Lakeland Florida.
