Ronald Joseph Fullenkamp, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 19, 2024.
Ronald was a devoted father, grandpa, father-in-law, brother and uncle who dedicated his life to his family. He graduated from Santa Fe High Catholic High School and later earned his bachelors degree in business administration from USF. He served in the Army National Guard for four years before pursuing a successful career as a telecommunications engineer with GTE for thirty-two years. Ronald was a faithful follower of Christ and instilled strong values in his six children, who he raised with love and kindness.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ronald was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and camping. He also had a passion for day trading and could often be found enjoying a cup of coffee while studying the stock market or visiting with friends.
Ronald leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his children, Bryce Fullenkamp, Matthew Fullenkamp (Daniele), Alison Fleniken (Shaun), Kevin Fullenkamp (Mallory), Jennifer Cross (Jason), Amy Smith (Matt), fifteen grandchildren, brothers David Fullenkamp (Kay), Dennis Fullenkamp (Sue), Keith Fullenkamp, Eugene Fullenkamp (Donna), Cyril Fullenkamp (Katrina), his sister Joanie Carter, and several nieces and nephews.
Ronald will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but we are assured he is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Psalm 49:15, "But God will redeem my life from the grave; he will surely take me to himself."
Visitation will be held at St Anthony's Catholic Church on Wednesday April 24th from 9:30 - 10:30; Mass service at St Anthony's Catholic Church from 10:30 - 11:30, and Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery immediately following the service. Flowers may be sent to Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services in Lakeland, Florida.
